VendorRank
VendorRank compares products with one use case for the company you are in. Coffee’s case is Roastery stock. Brewing’s is Taproom till. Scoops’ is Freezer stock. Those are different stories. Nothing here changes StatementSuite.
The menu is Requirements, Vendors, Mapping, and Ranking. The Home card says how many requirements are on file, and which product leads. When the list is empty, the card says No requirements yet.
The public session is read-only. You can open the lists, the records, the mapping, and the ranking. You cannot add a requirement, a vendor, a product, a feature, or a mapping. You do not see Create requirement, Create vendor, Add product, Add feature, or Map a feature.
Requirements
A card is the requirement, then the use case and the weight, and a category badge. Open it to read requirement, use case, category, weight, and description, then Mapped features: feature, product, vendor, and status.
Status on a mapping is Met, Partial, Not met, or N/A.
Empty: No requirement for this organisation yet. If you open the page with no requirement, it says Open a requirement from the list. A requirement that is not in this organisation says That requirement is not in this organisation. If nothing is mapped, it says No feature is mapped to this requirement yet.
Vendors
A card is the vendor, the product count, and the website when one is stored. Open a vendor to read its products. Open a product to read its features. Open a feature to read the requirements it is mapped to.
Empty states, in that order:
- No vendor for this organisation yet.
- Open a vendor from the list. or That vendor is not in this organisation.
- No product for this vendor yet.
- Open a product from the vendor. or That product is not in this organisation.
- No feature on this product yet.
- Open a feature from the product. or That feature is not in this organisation.
- This feature is not mapped to a requirement yet.
These products are not the VendorAccord catalogue.
Mapping
Mapping is the matrix: a requirement against the feature, the product, and the vendor, with Met, Partial, Not met, or N/A. Empty: No requirement is mapped to a feature yet.
Ranking
The note on the page says coverage is weighted met, plus half weight for partial, over the weight still in scope. N/A is left out. A gap counts as zero. Rank is inside the use case.
Cards are grouped under the use case name. A card is the rank, the vendor, and the product, then the coverage, how many are met, how many are partial, and how many are a gap. The first card is marked Lead. The rest say Rank and the number. A chart on the page is Coverage.
The coffee walk opens coverage for Roastery stock. The brewing walk opens Taproom till. The Scoops walk opens Freezer stock. If that use case is not on file, the walk does not add the line.
If there is nothing to rank, the page says No vendor coverage for this organisation yet.
