CattleCapture

CattleCapture is the livestock for the organisation you have selected. The menu is Cattle and Land map. The Home card counts cattle. Crops on the same ground are in CropCount. They share the land map and the paddock page.

Scoops has no paddock. The cattle list there says Nothing in this list yet. Coffee and brewing are the companies with paddocks.

The public session is read-only. You cannot add an animal, record a health check, record a feed row, or reassign a paddock. You do not see Create animal, New health check, New feed row, or Reassign.

Cattle

Analytics is at the top of the list. Under it, a map titled Cattle across the paddocks, then a table. A row is the name. The detail is the tag, the breed and sex, and the paddock. Badges are health and status.

  • Sex is Cow, Steer, Heifer, or Bull.
  • Status is On paddock, In yards, or Sold.
  • Health is Healthy, Watch, or Sick.

A dot on the map opens the animal. The link under the map opens the animal or the paddock.

Open an animal to read tag, name, organisation, paddock, land use, hectares, breed, sex, status, health, born, latitude, and longitude. Open paddock names the paddock. The map is that ground, with a link out to the same place on a map.

Health is checked, condition, and note. Feed is fed, feed, and kilograms.

If you open the page with no animal, it says Open a record from the list. An animal that is not in this organisation says That record is not in this organisation.

Analytics

Analytics charts Cattle by paddock, Cattle by health, and Feed kilograms by month. The page also charts Feed by month and Cattle by health. All records returns you to the list. If a chart has nothing to draw, it says Nothing to chart yet.

Land map

Land map is the shared map. The note says every paddock in this organisation, with the livestock and crops assigned to it. The map is titled Land. A list under it is paddock, land use and hectares, livestock, and crops. A paddock name opens the paddock. An animal name opens the animal. A crop name opens the crop. Each pin also has Map, which leaves the workspace.

Scoops says No paddock in this organisation yet.

Paddock

Open a paddock from the map, from an animal, or from a crop. If you open it with no paddock, it says Open a paddock from the land map. A paddock that is not in this organisation says That paddock is not in this organisation.

The record reads paddock, key, organisation, land use, hectares, livestock (assigned and on paddock), crops, latitude, and longitude. Organisation land map returns you to the map. The map on the page is titled with the paddock name, then livestock and crops.

Livestock on this paddock is name, sex, and status. Empty: No livestock assigned. Crops on this paddock is crop and stage. Empty: No crop assigned. You can open either record. You do not see Reassign.
