Watchdesk
Watchdesk is a made-up portfolio desk for the company you are in. Coffee reads as a state liaison desk. Brewing reads as a ports desk. Scoops reads as a foreshore desk. It is not a real agency, and it does not post into StatementSuite. There is no money on these pages.
The menu is Subjects, Reports, Operations, Desk, Map, and Board. Each of those pages also links the same six names across the top. The Home card says Map and board.
The public session is read-only. You can read the lists, the records, the desk, the map, and the board. You cannot file, assign, or close. You do not see New subject, File report, New operation, Add alias, Add affiliation, Add task, Shift or handoff, or Add fix.
Subjects
Filters sit above the cards. Status is All, Lead, Active, Closed, or Merged. Risk is All, Low, Medium, or High. The badge on a card is the status code: LEAD, ACTIVE, CLOSED, or MERGED. Risk on the card is LOW, MEDIUM, or HIGH. Risk is stored. It is not calculated on the page.
A card is the name, then the suburb, the service, or the kind, and the risk. Kind is PERSON or ORGANISATION.
Open one to read name, code, kind, nationality, status, risk, handler, service, suburb, and summary. Then Aliases (name and kind: NAME, HANDLE, or COMPANY), Affiliations (service, role, from, to, and confidence), Reports, Operations, Fixes (when, kind, label, and confidence), and Notes. A report or an operation opens that record.
Empty, with no filter: No subjects for this organisation yet. A filter that matches nothing says No subjects match this filter. If you open the page with no subject, it says Open a subject from the list. A subject that is not in this organisation says That subject is not in this organisation.
Reports
A card is the title, then the date and the source, and a status badge. Source is OPEN, INTERVIEW, LIAISON, or TECHNICAL. Status is DRAFT, FILED, or SUPERSEDED.
Open a report to read title, code, date, source, label, status, and author, then the body. The label is UNCLASSIFIED or DEMO-RESTRICTED. The note on the page says DEMO-RESTRICTED is a demo label, not a real marking. Source kind is a label only.
Then Subjects (name and role), Tasks (title, due, status, and owner), and Fixes. A task status is OPEN, DONE, or CANCELLED. A subject opens that file. A fix opens the map.
Empty: No reports for this organisation yet. If you open the page with no report, it says Open a report from the list. A report that is not in this organisation says That report is not in this organisation.
Operations
An operation’s kind is MONITOR, LIAISON, or REVIEW. Status is PLANNED, ACTIVE, or CLOSED.
Open one to read name, code, kind, status, lead, start, end, and objective. Then Subjects, Shift (person, role, from, to, and status), Tasks (title, due, owner, and status), Handoffs (from, to, when, summary, and status), and Fixes. A shift status is PLANNED, ON, or STOOD_DOWN. A handoff status is OPEN or ACCEPTED. The note under handoffs says accepting a handoff does not move an open task. You do not see Mark done or Accept handoff.
Empty: No operations for this organisation yet. If you open the page with no operation, it says Open an operation from the list. An operation that is not in this organisation says That operation is not in this organisation.
Desk
Desk counts subjects, reports, and operations by status. Open tasks due this month lists the title and the date, and links the operation. If none are due, it says No open task is due this month. Open handoffs links the operation. If none are open, it says No open handoff.
The note says reports by month are in the chart, and a month with no report is left off. The chart is Reports by month.
Map
Map shows the places already on file. It is not a live position. It is the same kind of map as the land map: pins, a short list, and a link out to the place. Open a site from the map to read it and Fixes at this site.
Empty: No site or fix for this organisation yet. If you open a site with no id, it says Open a site from the map. A site that is not in this organisation says That site is not in this organisation. You do not see Add fix.
The coffee walk opens the state liaison map. The brewing walk opens the ports desk map.
Board
The note says Coordination for this organisation. Guest can read the board. Accepting a handoff does not move an open task.
The columns are PLANNED, ACTIVE, and CLOSED. A card names the operation, the lead, today (or No shift), and how many tasks are open. The open task titles are on the card. An empty column says No planned operations., No active operations., or No closed operations.
You do not see Accept handoff or Assign owner. You cannot close an operation from the board.
