StockYard

StockYard is the store for the organisation you have selected. The menu is Warehouse, Stock on hand, Movements, and Analytics. The Home card shows the value on hand.

Each organisation has one warehouse. Coffee’s is the Thebarton roastery store. Brewing’s is the Light Square cellar. Scoops’ is the Glenelg freezer store. Products come from VendorAccord. This is not a second catalogue, and the stock value is not a second copy of the StatementSuite profit figure.

The public session is read-only. You can open the warehouse, a product, and a movement. You cannot record a movement. You do not see a control that would add a receipt, an issue, or an adjustment.

Warehouse

Links at the top open Stock on hand, Movements, and Analytics. A card is the warehouse name, the suburb or the address, and a status badge.

Open it to read warehouse, address, suburb, stock value in AUD, and status. Bins is bin and status. Stock on hand on the same page is product, category, quantity, average cost, and value. The product opens the stock item.

Empty: No warehouse for this organisation yet. If you open the page with no warehouse, it says Open a warehouse from the list. A warehouse that is not in this organisation says That warehouse is not in this organisation.

Stock on hand

The line at the top is Organisation stock value, in AUD. A card is the product, then the suburb, the quantity, and the value. The badge is the category, or All products when there is none.

Open a product to read product, category, warehouse, suburb, quantity, average cost, and value. The note says this is weighted average cost. A receipt updates the average. An issue takes stock out at the current average. Value is quantity times that average cost.

Under that, the movements for this product: When, Type, Qty, Unit, and Extended.

Empty: No stock on hand for this organisation yet. If you open the page with no item, it says Open a stock item from the list. An item that is not in this organisation says That stock item is not in this organisation.

A product in VendorAccord lists Stock on hand and opens this record.

Movements

A card is the product, then the date, the quantity, and the extended cost. The badge is the type: Receipt, Issue, or Adjust. The card opens the stock item, not a separate movement form.

Empty: No stock movements yet.

Analytics

Analytics charts Value by category, Quantity by warehouse, and Movements by month. A month with nothing is left off the movements chart.
