Newsroom

Walk the wire. A wooden newsroom of desks, broadsheets, and analog boards. The same stories remain readable as ordinary headlines.

Read without walking: Headlines.

This is an Object Explorer. Its Hotel Lobby door is upstairs.

Approach a desk or a board. The prompt names it. On a keyboard it says Press E or click the display. Esc closes a story. On a touch screen the control is Read. A door back to the lobby uses Open instead.

List opens the stories without walking to each desk. The corner badge is Live wire, or Demo feed when a stand-in is in use. If the wire cannot be refreshed, the room says News data could not be refreshed and offers Retry wire. It does not invent a headline.

Headlines is the same feed as a page. On the wire on the hub is only a preview of it, marked Live or Demo.

The door labelled Hotel Lobby returns you to the hall. Change Room does not list Headlines.
