Accessibility

Every walkable room has a matching page that does not need the three-dimensional view. Use it whenever the room is the wrong tool: the scene will not start, motion is uncomfortable, a keyboard-only walk is awkward, or you simply want to read.

Those links are also in the corner of each room, labelled Headlines, Market, and Space. The header on the simpler pages lists every room and every reading page, so you can cross without returning to the hub.

The simpler pages are the material, not a sitemap. Headlines open stories. Market opens a company and its filings. Space opens the catalog, with the same filters and the same decision to leave unknown measurements blank.

Keyboard

In a walkable room, when you are not typing in a field:

• W or Up moves forward. S or Down moves back.
• A or Left moves left. D or Right moves right.
• Drag the pointer to look.
• E or Enter uses the display, desk, or console in front of you. A click on the display does the same.
• Esc closes an open newsroom story.

Keys do nothing useful while the cursor is in a text field, so you can type a filter without walking.

Touch

A joystick sits on the screen for movement. Looking and opening use the on-screen controls. When you are near a story, Read opens it. Elsewhere the prompt offers Open. You do not need a physical keyboard.

In the room

You cannot fall through the Spacedeck’s glass floor. Walls, desks, displays, and columns stop you. If a walk feels blocked, step back and go around, or leave through the simpler-page link.

Other visitors can be visible in the room. They are not required for reading anything. The List control in the newsroom opens stories without walking to a particular screen.

If something fails to load

A room can be on screen while its stories, companies, or catalog cannot be fetched. You will see an error and, where Realm can try again, a retry. You will not see stand-in headlines, filings, or orbits presented as real. A demo feed, if one is showing, is labelled demo.

Switch to the simpler page and retry there if you prefer. The hub remains available from the Realm name.
