Providers
You choose the endpoint. Harness does not pick a host for you, and it does not give you a Scopa account to bill against.

An empty model name falls back to that provider’s default. This guide does not list model version numbers. Use the name your provider shows you.
Where the key goes
The key lives in an environment variable. The variable’s name comes from your config. You can instead let the auth command write a key file on this machine. That file stays under the keys folder in Files.
The window never asks you to paste a secret into a web form.
Ollama can run locally without a key. Point it at the Ollama you already have. Leave the key unset.
Switching
You can change provider or model in the middle of a session. The conversation stays. Messages you already have are not dropped, and the session is not renamed for you.
The default provider and the default mode are stored in your config. A single session can still use a different model for the turns ahead.
