ShareBear
The line on the page reads SHAREBEAR // SEC equity explorer. There are no tabs. The page is one column.
The note on the page says: search a listed company, pick one financial line item, and read its reported values over time. The source is SEC EDGAR filings. It is not investment advice.
Find a company
COMPANY SEARCH takes a name, a ticker, or a CIK. Press SEARCH. The COMPANY list fills with matches. If you search with an empty box, the page says Enter a name, ticker, or CIK. If nothing matches, it says No companies matched that search. If the search fails, it says Couldn't search companies. Try again. and the chart says Search failed.
Until a company is chosen, the identity panel says No company selected, and the status line says Select a company to begin.
Read a line
FILTER LINE ITEMS matches a label or a concept. LINE ITEM is the series. UNIT is the unit on that series. CHART TYPE is Line or Bar. COMPARE TO can stay on None, or set the series beside a peer group the page offers.
The table columns are period end, fiscal period, company, percent change, and unit. When a comparison is on, it adds a peer average and the difference versus that peer.
Until a series is loaded, the summary says it appears after a series is loaded. If the line has no numbers, it says there are no numeric values to summarize. If the company has no line items with facts, the page says so.
RELOAD CATALOG loads the filings again. If they cannot be read, the panel says “Couldn't load company filings. Try reload.”
