SEARCH matches a name, a local name, or an ISO code. CONTINENT narrows the list. OPEN COUNTRY, then STATE and AREA for that country. The page says to search, then open a country. Empty child lists stay as no rows.

Country, state, area, economy

Each tab searches, then opens one record. Until you choose, the panel says NO COUNTRY SELECTED, NO STATE SELECTED, or NO AREA SELECTED.

ECONOMY adds a YEAR. A country with no series for that year does not grow invented figures.

Compare and map

COMPARE searches by name or ISO code and takes COUNTRIES (2–4). Until then, SELECT 2–4 COUNTRIES.

MAP searches by name or ISO code, then COUNTRY, STATE, and AREA.

If the file cannot be read, the panel says “Couldn't load the geography file. Try reload.” A failed series says “Data unavailable. Try again.”
