Table and browse

TABLE is the periodic table. Pick an ELEMENT on it.

BROWSE searches by symbol, name, or atomic number. Filters: GROUP BLOCK, STANDARD STATE, and bands for mass, electronegativity, melting point, boiling point, density, and year. Open a row from OPEN ELEMENT, then OPEN DETAIL.

Element, compare, and heat

ELEMENT is one record. Until you choose, it says NO ELEMENT SELECTED.

COMPARE takes ELEMENTS (2–4). Until then it says SELECT 2–4 ELEMENTS.

HEAT picks one ELEMENT and a PROPERTY and colours the table by that property.

Simulation

SIMULATION is a tray you step through. PRESET loads a prepared setup. SIM CMD is the command on that tray. It does not change the catalog. If the file cannot be read, the panel says “Couldn't load the element catalog. Try reload.”
