Related records

A related record is another name Forge already stores against the one you opened. You follow it by that name. You do not type an id.

On a commodity​

If the commodity has byproducts, or is itself a byproduct, the page shows Related Commodities. The relationship is written out, such as a byproduct of the name you opened. Choose the other commodity’s name to open it.

On a shared profile​

Under the curated fields, Forge groups the related names. The headings are the ones on that collection:

  • AI models: aliases, pricing, capabilities, modalities, traits.
  • Harnesses: capabilities and models.
  • Animal breeds: categories and traits.
  • Processors: specifications, features, memory support, sockets, graphics cards, sources.
  • Graphics cards: sources.
  • Coffee varieties: origins, growing regions, processing methods, sensory notes, sensory profiles.
  • Grain varieties: synonyms, end uses, market classes, traits, growing areas.
  • Horticultural cultivars: end uses, growing areas, ingredients.
  • Horticultural ingredients: pasta uses.
  • Pasta: synonyms, end uses, geographic associations, traits, designations, ingredients.
  • Grape varieties: synonyms, growing areas, wine styles, producers.
  • Wine regions: areas and producers.
  • Galaxies: star systems and star clusters.

A heading with no rows is omitted or left empty. Forge does not invent a related name to fill it.

Trending is not a list of related items. It stays empty. News Articles, including any related-story list that catalog would have, is Coming soon... and is not in Object Selection.

Changing Object Selection starts a different collection. It does not carry the record you had open.
